“I’m enrolled/enrolling in driver’s ed and want to get my permit.”
Lucky you! You can get your permit without first taking the dreaded Knowledge (written) Test because you are enrolled/enrolling in driver’s ed! How?
- If youʼre not already, let’s get you enrolled. Enroll here.
- Send us your WDL#. (Note: if you have a WA State ID card, the WDL# will be on it). Don’t have a WDL# yet? Pre-apply online.
- We will submit a waiver for you to get your permit (without testing for it). This waiver allows you to get your permit from the DOL within 10 days of the 1st day of your class.
