“What does WA require of me to get licensed?”
Washington State requires driver’s license applicants to meet the following qualifications to get licensed before 18:
Complete an approved driverʼs ed course
Be at least 16 years of age
Have held a driver’s permit for 6 months
Log 50 hours of driving practice with a qualified licensed driver (10 hours at night)
Pass the Knowledge Test with a score of 80% or higher
Pass the Skills Test with a score of 80% or higher
